Susan
Office Manager
I’m the Office Manager here at Maxillofacial Surgery Center of Huntsville. Even though I was born in Nashville, I consider myself a native of Huntsville. My favorite thing to do outside of work is antiquing. I am married with two children and four grandchildren.
I love working with numbers, so my job suits me perfectly. I chose the dental field because my sister is a dentist—it just seemed like a natural fit! If you have any questions or concerns I’m here to help!

Professional Relations Coordinator
I’ve been in the dental field since graduating from dental assisting school in 2004.
I love being part of a team and helping patients have great experiences. In my role as a PRC I get to engage with the dental community and build relationships.
My husband and I have two kids and enjoy traveling and watching movies. We have lived in five different states and have called Huntsville our home since 2020. We love it here!

Insurance Coordinator
I’ve lived in Huntsville for my entire life. My husband and I have two wonderful grown children and three dogs.
When I am not assisting patients at work, I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my family. My favorite part of my job is helping patients understand the confusion that is dental insurance —and making sure they get exactly what they need!

Front Office Coordinator
I am the Front Office Coordinator here at the Maxillofacial Surgery Center of Huntsville, guiding patients to convenient appointment times. When I’m not at work, I spend time with my family and three dogs. And when we’re not busy with family, we enjoy riding together—bicycles and motorcycles!
I’ve always wanted to work with people, and working at the Maxillofacial Surgery Center of Huntsville fulfills that calling.

Surgical Assistant
My name is Marla, and I’m a Surgical Assistant helping Dr. Kamelchuk with patient care.
I was born and raised in Crossville, Alabama (a little town about an hour north of Chattanooga). After graduating from high school in 2004, I went on to Jefferson State Community College where I studied medical assisting. Professionally, I transitioned from the medical field to the dental field by chance and love it!
My favorite part of my job is the people I work with. They’re all so kind and caring—it’s like having another family. We take excellent care of all our patients!
Kelsey
Surgical Assistant
I’m a surgical assistant on an incredible team. I was born in Demopolis, Alabama, and moved to Scottsboro in 2018. Since graduating from Scottsboro High School in 2021, I have completed the Huntsville Dental Assistant School. Currently, I’m enrolled in Northeast Alabama Community College for my associate in science.
In my free time, I like to spend time with my dog and enjoy puzzles, traveling, and shopping. Helping people is my favorite part of my job—I love being able to give back and make someone’s day just a little bit easier!
Emily
Surgical Assistant
I was born in Minot, North Dakota. We moved to Huntsville when I was five years old. My dad was a member of the Air Force, and we were living in Huntsville when he was honorably discharged and decided to stay here.
I was the middle child of 5, graduating from Grissom High School in 2019. Before this job, I worked in construction and woodworking.
My favorite part of this job is working with the doctor during surgeries to help people improve their smiles. In my spare time, I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and woodworking.
